Confidence is tricky. It is something that everyone longs for.

Put your thoughts in their place.

It is said that the average human has 65,000 thoughts every day, 85 to 90 percent of them being negative. Examples of things such as worry or fear. They are warnings to oneself and left over from our cave-dwelling past. If one sticks to their hand in a flame, the brain wants to make sure one does not ever do that again. This mechanism that inhibits survival works against individuals, because it causes us to focus on fears rather than hopes or dreams.
